Tsvika Tsuk, director of the Department of Archaeology and Heritage at the Israel Nature and National Parks Protection Authority, will be the featured speaker for the Manuel Archaeology Lecture at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) Thursday, April 14, at 3 p.m.
Tsuk, who is partnering with NOBTS on a 3-year project to excavate the ancient water system at Tel Gezer just west of Jerusalem, will offer a presentation titled “Water Systems of Ancient Israel and Canaan.”
The event will take place in the Providence Learning Center conference room at NOBTS. The lecture is free and open to the public.
